Made in Ferndale, Michigan.
Made by Carl Scott. You know him, right?
Made of upcycled cedar shaving, American made cotton bags.
Carl Scott happens to be the husband of founder and co-owner Sandra Scott. In 2017, the pair worked together to sell these soap decks and other wooden wares at local craft fairs. Carl loves to create things out of locally sourced wood, especially urban trees that are cut down for other purposes. Some of you may remember when "Made Of Michigan" was comprised entirely of cool wooden goods that Carl and his friend Eddie made. The business has had some twists and turns and has blossomed into the Copper CornerStore you see today.
These drawstring pouches filled with aromatic, Michigan cedar shavings will freshen and protect your closets, shelves, and drawers. Cedar is a fragrant and powerful deterrent to moths, mildew, and pests. It also naturally repels odors and moisture. The shavings are sourced from Carl's, own woodshop, as they are a leftover material from the soap deck manufacturing process.
