eeBoo was founded by President and Creative Director, Mia Galison. She started eeBoo 25 years ago. She wanted to create a new paradigm for what it meant to be a working Mother. She refused to embrace the compromise of work versus family. She made an office in the basement of her house where she could be close to her kids and they could experience it, understand it, and help. She never tried to hide that she had kids and dogs running and barking in the background. She embraced this early chaotic mix as her brand, and she was proud of it.

eeBoo is a boutique toy manufacturer that specializes in useful, beautiful and well-made educational games and gifts. eeBoo creates refreshing toys and gifts that are 100% original (no licenses), and they commission  artwork from well-known and well-loved children’s book illustrators.

Diana Sudyka (pronounced soo-dee-kah, it’s Slavic) is a Chicago based illustrator. As a child she was the one always looking under logs for snails and bugs, and not much has changed since.  Early in her career she created screen printed posters for musicians including Andrew Bird, St. Vincent, and The Black Keys. She moved into the publishing world by illustrating several volumes of the best-selling series The Mysterious Benedict Society and The Secret Keepers by Trenton Lee Stewart. Working mainly in gouache, watercolor, and ink, subject matter and aesthetic choices for her paintings are inspired by a passion for nature and science, as well as a love for various folk art traditions. She has illustrated several children's books. When not working, she gets outdoors as much as possible with her family, and still sometimes volunteers in the Chicago Field Museum of Natural History bird lab.

Rewilding is an ecologically responsible trend that encourages people to allow the natural, delicate ecosystem to flourish in their backyards, without constant manicuring. This illustration features garden animals, feathered friends, flowers, and other small organisms living in a wild, natural habitat. A vibrant and striking illustration from Diana Sudyka.
